Making a ghost heart (Heart decellularization)

In this video I demonstrate the process of decellularizing a pig heart. The scaffold that is left over after the process can theoretically be used to grow replacement organs for patients in need. Since it would be seeded with their own cells, there’s no risk of rejection.

I based my procedure on this instructable which goes into a lot more detail than I can cover in one video: http://www.instructables.com/id/Ghost-Heart-in-a-Jar/?ALLSTEPS
